About Mrs Lynette Rogers: Nominated Supervisor


Qualification
:  Diploma of Teaching E.C.

Married with three children, Lynette has been teaching in the early childhood field for 33 years.  Her experience has encompassed various education settings including preschools, primary schools, childcare and community kindergartens in QLD, NSW and VIC.  Lynette started at Ipswich Kindergarten in March 2004 and strongly believes in an early childhood education that fosters and celebrates the uniqueness of every child and their individual learning style. Lynette enjoys going on long walks in her spare time.


 

About Mrs Suzanne Austin: Teacher


Qualification
: Bachelor of Education, Diploma of Teaching E.C.

Suzanne’s first association with Ipswich Kindergarten was as a student teacher in 1984.  She returned as a teaching staff member in 2001.  Her experience in the early childhood field is vast and varied including work in preschools and kindergartens in Queensland and Victoria, directorship of an Early Childhood Resource Centre, an Early Education Centre and four years teaching in a language school in Switzerland.  Suzanne has two young adult children with whom she enjoys going to the beach, camping trips and travelling with.


 

 

About Mrs Ann-Maree Hauschildt: Educator


Qualification:  
Associate Diploma of Education (Child-Care)

While growing up Ann-Maree frequently visited Queens Park and always dreamed she would work at Ipswich Kindy.  That dream came true as she started working as a qualified Educator at Ipswich Kindy in 1998.  Ann-Maree is married with two teenage sons.  They keep her very busy with weekend sport, camping and fishing. Her favourite things to do are scrapbooking, gardening and hiking with friends.





 

About Ms Kristie Burkin: Educator

Qualification: Certificate III in Children’s Services

Married with two boys, Kristie commenced with Ipswich Kindergarten in 2009. She has worked in the Early Childhood field for 28 years, 23 of these in community kindergartens. In her spare time she supports her boys in football and quad biking and likes to go fishing and camping.




 

About Mrs Anne Costello: Educator

Qualification: Certificate III in Children’s Services

I am a mother of four children (mostly teenagers), and have over 20 years experience working in Early Childhood. As an Educator, I am fortunate enough to collaborate with the children in enhancing their holistic and foundational knowledge and understanding. I like to go to the movies and museums with my family, enjoy the gym and love a good girls night out.



 

About Mrs Sheryl Langton: Administration Assistant


Sheryl started her involvement with Ipswich Kindergarten as a parent, as both her daughters attended. As well as being on the Management Committee as Secretary, since January 2005 Sheryl has been employed as the Administration Assistant. Sheryl enjoys the gym, spending time with her young adult daughters and hopes to travel more with her husband.








About Mrs Justine Ward Landy: Educational Leader


After graduating and teaching at a local Ipswich school for 6 years, Justine took time off to raise her daughters – both of whom attended Ipswich Kindergarten. As a Kindergarten parent, Justine became involved in the behind-the-scenes operation of the Centre, joining the Management Committee and serving as Secretary for 3 years. Justine then joined the teaching staff in 2016, working in a full time capacity before moving to her current position as Teacher of the Water Dragon group and Educational Leader. Justine enjoys travelling, reading and photography and is kept busy as a dance and netball Mum.






About Mrs Darlene Begg: Inclusion Support Assistant


Qualification
: Diploma of Children's Services

Darlene joined the team at Ipswich Kindergarten in 2018. Prior to this, she has worked as a Teacher’s Aide before stepping into the role of supporting children with additional needs in Community Kindergartens. Darlene has over 20 years experience working in Early Childhood here in Queensland as well as Victoria. Darlene is married with three school aged children who keep her busy with their sport and music activities.
